Δελτίο Τύπου για διαμαρτυρία ενάντια στην ομοφοβία-τρανσφοβία.

Σύνταγμα, Ομόνοια, Ζάππειο: 

τρία κεντρικά σημεία της Αθήνας, 

τρία περιστατικά ομοφοβικής βίας σε διάστημα μόλις δυο εβδομάδων, 

με συμπολίτες /συμπολίτισσές μας- 

άτομα της LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Queer)  κοινότητας 

να γίνονται θύματα σωματικής και λεκτικής κακοποίησης.

Όλα αυτά συνέβησαν και συνεχίζουν να συμβαίνουν με την καθημερινή πολιτική νομιμοποίηση της βίας και την απουσία της πολιτείας, 

παράγοντες που συντελούν τα μέγιστα στην καλλιέργεια της κοινωνικής ανοχής σε τέτοιου είδους φαινόμενα.

Σε αντιστάθμισμα όλων αυτών,

αλλά και της περιρέουσας αδράνειας που χαρακτηρίζει πλέον την πόλη μας και τους κατοίκους της, 

οργανώσεις, συλλογικότητες και φορείς 

σχεδιάζουν μια σειρά δράσεων καταγγελίας των πρόσφατων περιστατικών βίας,  

με στόχο την ευαισθητοποιήση του κοινού, 

στο γενικότερο πλαίσιο κινητοποιήσεων για την καταπολέμηση της ομοφοβίας / τρανσφοβίας.

Πιο συγκεκριμένα, 

καλούμε φορείς, οργανώσεις και συλλογικότητες 

σε μια απο κοινού διαμαρτυρία ενάντια στην ομοφοβική - τρανσφοβική βία, 

στις 14 Σεπτεμβρίου και ώρα 18.00 στην πλατεία Κλαυθμώνος.

Οι δράσεις θα συνεχιστούν 

το βράδυ της ίδιας ημέρας με performances στη πλατεία Κεραμεικού στις 21.00 

καθώς και 

το πρωί του Σαββάτου 15/9 στις 12.00 με ένα freeze action σε κεντρικά σημεία της πόλης.

Σε κατεύθυνση αντίθετη του αναχρονιστικού αέρα που φαίνεται να πνέει στις κοινωνίες μας, 

δε μένουμε αμέτοχοι / αμέτοχες σε όσα συμβαίνουν δίπλα μας και 

βάζουμε το χρώμα μας στην κοινωνία που οραματιζόμαστε.

Press Release: 

Protest against incidents of homophobic and transphobic violence.

Syntagma, Omonia Square, Zappeion:  

three central points of Athens,  

three incidents of homophobic violence in just two weeks with our fellow citizens 

of the LGBTQ (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, queer) community  

to be victims of physical and verbal abuse.

All this has occurred and continues to occur with the daily political legitimation of violence and the absence of the state, 

factors that greatly contribute to increasing social tolerance to these phenomena.

Against this and against the prevailing inertia that characterizes our city and its people, organizations,  collectives and institutions provide a series of actions to denounce the recent incidents of violence, to educate the public in a broader context of the mobilization against homophobia and transphobia.

More specifically, we call upon the institutions, organizations and collectives to protest together against homophobic and transphobic violence, on Friday, September 14^th, at 18:00, Klafthmonos Square.

These actions will continue in the evening with performances at Kerameikos Square, at 21:00 and on Saturday morning, 15/9 at 12:00 with a "freeze action" in central city spots.

In the opposite direction of the anachronistic wind that seems to blow in our societies, we are not indifferent towards what’s happening around us and we put our own color in the society that we envision.

Communiqué de Presse pour la protestation contre l’homophobie et la transphobie.

Syntagma, place Omonia, Zappeion: 

trois points centraux d'Athènes, 

trois incidents de violence homophobe en seulement deux semaines avec nos concitoyens/ concitoyennes 

de la communauté LGBTQ (lesbiennes, gays, bisexuels, transgenres, queer) 

d'être victimes de violences physiques et verbales.

Tout cela a eu lieu et continue à se produire avec la légitimation politique quotidienne de la violence et l'absence de l'État, 

des facteurs qui contribuent grandement à la tolérance sociale croissante à l' égard de ces phénomènes.

Contre tout cela et contre l'inertie ambiante qui caractérise notre ville et ses habitants, les organisations, les collectifs et les institutions prévoient une série d’actions de dénonciation des récents incidents de violence, 

afin de sensibiliser le public dans un cadre plus large de mobilisation contre l'homophobie et la transphobie.

Plus précisément, nous appelons les institutions, les organisations et les collectifs à une protestation commune contre la violence homophobe – transphobe vendredi le 14 septembre, à 18h00, Place Klafthmonos.

Ces actions se poursuivront dans la même soirée avec des spectacles sur la place Kerameikos à 21h00 et samedi matin, le 15/9, à 12h00, avec une « freeze action » à des endroits-clés de la ville.

Dans le sens inverse de l'air anachronique qui semble souffler dans nos sociétés, nous ne restons pas indifférents/ indifférentes  à ce qui se passe autour de nous et nous mettons notre propre couleur dans la société que nous envisageons.
